I know it fixed graphical issues for me when playing older games like QUAKE and HERETIC etc. This is a WIP guide to setting up a foundation for a modded installation of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. You might want to disable the Steam ingame overlay under settings which might fix the problem. Seems the only games which give me no problem with mods are Steam based games like SKYRIM and FALLOUT NEW VEGAS.

For some reason though with Steam it doesnt work and its the same problem with BT Mod. I used it all the time on my non-steam version of OBLIVION. The possibility of it being corrupted from three different sources are astronomically low.ĭarnified UI is a fantastic mod but unfortunately it doesnt seem to work on all current hardware. I installed it three times from three different sites. Do you not think it *might* be user error or a corrupted download of the OMOD (you *did* use the OMOD and not manual install, right?) rather than the mod being a POS? Regardless, I've already told you, try BT Mod, that's the other one that tends to come up if you look for a UI mod for Oblivion, but I've not personally used it as I tested DarNified first and decided to stick with it There's also DarkUI, but the non-DarN version is listed by the mod author as outdated and probably not stable, and superceded by the DarkUId DarN I think this is a standalone mod, so you wouldn't have to re-install DarNified, but I think I did try to install this at one point and had some sort of trouble with it, can't remember what, think it basically just wouldn't install. It is the second most popular Oblivion mod of all time on the Nexus. Originally posted by gnewna:DarNifiedUI is a well-made, popular mod with over 4600 endorsements, and appears on many, if not most 'best ever Oblivion mod' lists.
